Minnesota Power Sports Contributors Mission
Our mission is simple. We want to build the most complete and useful resource Minnesota power sports fans have, and keep it open to anyone who wants in. That means current news, real event coverage, and the kind of insight that only comes from people who were actually there. It means a community that celebrates both the thrill of competition and the country it happens in. None of it works without contributors like you.
Opportunities for Minnesota Power Sports Contributors
There is more than one way to pitch in at Gopher Power Sports:
- Writers: Articles, event previews, race recaps, feature stories. Tell us what you saw, what it meant, and why it mattered. Your own take is the point, so write like you talk.
- Photographers: A good photo puts our readers on the fence line. If you can catch the moment the pack comes off turn four, we want it.
- Videographers: Highlight reels, walkarounds, paddock footage, whatever shows the speed and the skill. Video carries a race in a way words cannot, and it gives people a reason to stay on the page.
- Social Media Enthusiasts: Post updates, push events, answer people when they reply. A lot of our reach comes from someone sharing a race weekend with their friends.
- Content Editors: Catch the typos, check the facts, keep the voice consistent. Careful editing is what makes the rest of the work look as good as it is.
Why Volunteer with Us?
Becoming a Gopher Power Sports Contributors Team member offers numerous benefits:
- Build Your Portfolio: Your work goes out on a site people actually read, with your name on it, and it stacks up into a body of published work you can point to.
- Get Reps: Writing, shooting, editing, video, social. The only way to get better at any of it is doing it regularly for a real audience.
- Meet Other Enthusiasts: You will be working alongside people who follow this sport as closely as you do, and that circle tends to be useful long after the season ends.
- Make a Difference: What you put out helps other fans find events, learn the sport, and get more out of it. That is worth doing.
Minnesota Power Sports Support and Resources
We are not going to hand you an assignment and disappear. Our team is here for guidance, resources, and straight feedback on your work. We run automation that pushes your posts out across social media, we can get your video up on YouTube, and we can help with the editing if that is not your strong suit. And when tracks and promoters send swag or event admissions our way, those perks go to our SuperFans.
A Heartfelt Thank You
Thank you, sincerely, for being willing to give your time and your talent to this. Your enthusiasm is what will carry Gopher Power Sports forward, and we are looking forward to seeing what you make.
Together we can make Gopher Power Sports the first place Minnesota motorsport and outdoor adventure fans check. Let’s capture the thrill, tell the stories, and celebrate what brings us all out to the track.
Welcome to the team.
Regards,
Keith Klein, Captain
